Default Old Mattress And Box Springs

I want to get rid of this old mattress and box springs that we have but I am not sure what to do with it. Some of the springs are poking through so I don't think anyone would want it. How do I get rid of it?

When you buy another, ask the people you buy from if they dispose of the old bedding for you. That's what we did. They offered the service for free and we took them up on it. I don't know how else to do it except to take it to the landfill. It's a shame they aren't biodegradable or recyclable.

I was thinking the exact thing, most stores will take the old box springs and mattress. If you are not buying a new one then I would say the dump too. You will have to pay to get rid of it.

I will have to call the local dump then because we aren't going to be getting a new bed. It is in the play room now and I am just going to get a futon for that room. We don't get many guests so it will free up some room.
