Every year around this time I make my children go threw everything that they have in their rooms....all clothes, toys, whatever. This is when we donate old clothes and toys, make our boxes for the next year garage sale, and then the kids can make appropriate Christmas lists. It also is great because they now have room for their Christmas gifts.
