How do you effectively organize your craft supplies? Mine are everywhere. Do you organize them by project? By type? I am at a loss as to how to do it and it still be user friendly.
The only craft I'm really involved in is sewing for my house. We have a mudroom which is kind of a multi-purpose area. I have one cabinet and a chest that I sit on where I can store my things.
I am all over the place, I tole paint, sew, paper crafts, wood working, wood burning, jewelery making and various other things. I have some in bags, but it is not easy to find stuff that way.
I only do crochet and I have a big basket for all the stuff I use, although there are some stuff that get waylaid sometimes. It is easier if they are kept in one place, with different containers, in your case.
I have a similar issue. I want to get see through containers so I can see what is in them and label them by project, that seems like the most logical thing to do.
