When you pack for a trip, what do you consider essential? I always make sure I have my pillow. I cannot sleep without my pillow and only mine. I also have to have enough clean clothing for a few extra days...just in case. It's saved me more times than not so I routinely do this. So, what do you consider essential?

There are a few things I consider essential. I love my pillow too and try to remember it if I'm not flying. I also take my brands of personal care items. I'm sort of picky about that type of stuff.

Clothes, shoes, and toiletries...that's it. It's never occurred to me to take anything else like pillows, unless we're camping in which case half the darn house has to go with us.

My pillow, socks and undies (in that order). Everything else is just extra and I could get elsewhere if I really had to. I started keeping that list with me for the last ten years after two back to back trips where I managed to forget all three.

I take socks, undies and cloths. Of course I also take my tooth brush, outside of that I don't worry. As long as I can stay clean then I don't stress out.
