Default Room without closet

We can either build one in or use a stand alone and I am thinking the build idea might be the best. If we ever move then the room is counted as a bedroom instead of an extra room. Even though its upstairs we have sales totals for both it being counted as each type and as a bedroom we can get more money out of the house if we ever sell. Has anyone made a closet before? I could use all the help possible with this task.

I tend to see things more along the lines of what is good for me right now. Is the room standing empty? If you don't need it for anything then build away. I haven't ever tried to do something like that but I am sure others here can help you with ideas.

It is fairly easy to base in a closet, you just make a fake wall where you want it to go and go from there.

It's an easy enough thing to do. It's so easy than unless you need the closet space right now, I wouldn't worry about it until you decide you are for sure going to sell.

I honestly think I would rather make a closet than to use a wardrobe. When you get ready to sell, then the extra money would be wonderful. Any type of upgrade like this, which is low cost and has a high return is always preferable.
