I have a small carpet by my front door where I keep my shoes. Most of the time it doesn't matter if it's neat because I live by myself. But sometimes I look at this area and get so annoyed that I don't have a better place to keep my shoes! Any ideas?

I have two of those under the bed shoe boxes. It helps out a lot to get them out of sight. I know where they are if I want them and I have them out of sight.

I think under the bed storage is a great idea. I love having that space to be able to put things and get them out of sight. The only drawback is that sometimes when I can't find something I forget it's under the bed and end up tearing the house apart, lol.
