Default Storing your digital pictures

How do you store your digital pictures on your computer? Do you have folders for all of them or do you use one of those outside sites that let's you store all of your photos? I like mine on my own PC even though I know they take up 'space'.

I just store ours on the PC. I don't really like using outside sites for stuff like that. I have them all in "My Pictures" and make up different folders to help keep them labeled.

I have two external hard drives that I bought at Walmart. Both hold something like 500GB each, and I store my photos on both drives. One is my main drive, and one is purely for a back up in case one of the drives dies. It may be overkill, but my entire family history is on those drives. I want to look into the off site storage sites just in case of a house fire or some other disaster. You never know.

I keep an external hard drive that I back everything else up to between old writings of mine, photos and a few random websites from back in the day. You know the ones that you start out thinking are great and then a few years into it the site just dies but you still have the old backups?

I have an external hard drive also that I put most everything on, I forget the size but it is huge. I lost my last hard drive and everything on it so I don't plan for that to happen again!

I have my photos on both my desktop computer and my laptop, just in case. I've also started to just buy a new memory card instead of erasing and re-using. We have a digital picture frame that is always on and we switch the cards up every so often, so we actually get to look at our pictures.

Some of the photos, which are the currently-taken ones, are saved in my laptop. Since images can take up space, I bought an external hard drive in which most of the pictures are stored and organized in different folders.

I have most of my pictures stored on the computer and/or on a disc. It's a mess! Organizing the pictures has been a project I have been meaning to tackle for a long time, but it's going to be such a huge undertaking.

I also purchased an external hard drive a while back. I have most all of my photos there. They are in folders that are all marked so that I can easily find (most of the time) what I'm looking for.

I store ours two ways. I always create a disc of pictures that we take on vacation and for other special occasions, but I place all of your pictures on external hard drives. We're on our third one now!
