Did anybody watch the 2011 Emmys the other night? I was kind of disappointed in some of the awards. Wished that Mildred Pierce won more awards and I am disappointed that Steve Carell has never won an Emmy for The Office. Other than that I found them kind of boring. The best part was Ricky Gervais making a video appearance.

I liked some of the performances but the award shows are overrated. I like the host, Jane Lynch, even though I don't watch her shows. I didn't like the whole Jersey Shore thing though it did make the point that the show has had an impact on the settings of a lot of reality shows.
