What do you think about Amanda Knox being acquitted? I wasn't really following the first trial or the appeal very much, but I do feel bad for the Kercher family. I wonder if the Italian police are going to re-open the case...or did they just let the real killer go free?

There is still 1 person in jail for the crime. The Italian police arrested 4 - let 1 go and 3 went to prison. Amanda and her then boyfriend were just acquitted yesterday.

I don't think she did it - the evidence was tainted. In Italy you have to prove your innocence - they don't have to prove your guilt.

I agree with Flower. There is no need for the case to open again because they caught somebody where there was actually evidence involved. They decided Amanda and her boyfriend (sorry, I can't remember how to spell his name) did not have sufficient DNA to put them at the murder scene. I think justice was served and Meredith Kercher's family can rest assured that the right man is behind bars.
