Default Bacteria infection

I went to the doctor today about my eye. This doc said I have a bacteria infection in my eyes caused from a follicle inflammation, I don't know what to think, the other doctor said conjunctivitis, do I get a third opinion?

I would get a third opinon, although it would also depend on what the treatment was for the condition. Perhaps the treatment is the same?

Unless the infection is in a deep pocket in the eyelid, normally the treatment is the same-an antibiotic eye ointment. Occassionally there is the need for a systemic antibiotic, but if it truly is bacterial that will do it. Has it been swabbed? Sometimes the infection is viral instead and won't respond to antibiotics.
