I was given Alan Alda's Things I Overheard While Talking to Myself for Christmas and I'm almost finished with it already. In it, he reviews different speeches (such as commencement addresses) he was asked to give over the years and explains his thoughts about each particular speech. It's really amazing how intelligent he is. If you were ever a fan of Alan Alda, I highly recommend this book.

I'm not a fan of Alan Alda but I might give it a try. I do like to read "real" books from time to time. I need a break from all the Private Investigative books I've been reading.
