Husbands and laundry I love my husband, I really do, but if he ever goes near the dryer again I'm going to kill him! He was trying to be helpful the other day and he ended up putting my favorite, favorite, favorite tank top in the dryer. Needless to say, this is a shirt that does NOT go in the dryer. Hopefully he learned his lesson and he will stay away from the laundry room from now on!

Aww!! I am sorry Bella. I hate it when stuff like that happens. At least he was trying to help you out though maybe next time he'll ask if anything has special care instructions.

Yeah, I can identify with that. My husband was trying to be nice once when I was sick and washed a load of undies. Needless to say, my bras were destroyed. The push up from Victoria's Secret was so shredded by the bleach he put in the washer that I couldn't even salvage that. The other ones are yellow because of bleach. But until I can afford to buy more, I guess I'm going to have to wear them yellow. He has no idea how much money is invested in underwear.

Mine would do the same thing. They think everything is wash and go. I have a few pairs of pants and shorts that I don't like to dry because I don't want them to shrink.

Yea, I had a bra get mixed up with his amazing washing talents as well, but it was my least favorite so I didn't freak over that. He's been on a manic mission for a week now trying to replace the tank top, lol. |

I've been there too. I hide my special clothes in a basket in the closet so if he washes clothes he won't destroy them. He shrunk 2 of my daughter's dresses this week throwing them in the dryer.

Yeah I keep my special cloths hidden as well. My kids also like to help do laundry and I think that is wonderful. I want them to learn but I don't want my nice things ruined!

It is always the thought that counts. I remember when I got with my mate years ago I was never allowed to wash their clothes for fear I might be doing it wrong. Guess who does them all now? You got me, this one.

Yep, husbands don't read labels. They just throw everything into the wash and don't care if it's your favorite whatever. Mine has a habit of leaving pens or markers in his pockets and then running the wash.
