I really could not help it but I saw this great dining room table online and it is going for next to nothing. I am waiting to hear back from the owner now to see if we get it but I am really hoping here. Its a great pub size table that seats six and we need the extra room now more than ever!

We try to avoid shopping like this but it has been known to happen. The last time we did it for furniture we ended up going in to replace a couch that a pet ruined and came back with new tables, lamps and a rug.
I do a lot of impulse buys with the internet so easy to use for shopping. I do it all the time with Craigslist. Now we have too many couches in the house.
I am not an impulse buyer when it comes to furniture, but I will do it with great deals on clothes for the kids. Check out the clearance section on the Walmart site from time to time...sometimes they have stuff for a dollar!
I hope you are able to buy it! It sounds really nice. Why is this an impulse buy though? You are waiting still and it sounds like you need it (bigger anyway).
Good luck with buying the table. I too make impulse purchases (not usually on tables though). I try to stay off my favorite websites when I'm in the mood to spend money!
Have you guys seen NoBetterDeal.com? I just discovered it today and they have stuff like Overstock.com. Sometimes it's an open box or a damaged box or is sold "As Is" but they had some pretty decent stuff. I'm sure the stuff changes as they get it. Good luck on the dining room table!
I have needed a dining room table forever it seems! I need to find one but honestly, I just haven't found anything that suits me yet. I am waiting for a vintage old French kitchen table that looks distressed.
