But, I will just stay inside all nice and cozy and make do. We had plans to go fishing but it's just to nasty out for that. I guess we will find some old movie on TV, pop some popcorn and settle down for the day.
Sounds like a better day to me anyway! Movie, popcorn and relaxing. I wish my day was that way - then again it is not rainy here. I know the rain is coming though!
We had a day like that here also. It usually means it's going to turn cold if it does that in the winter time. And yes, I just heard the weather report this morning and it is suppose to be in the low 30's for the next few mornings.
I hate days like this! We have had one good day in the past 2 weeks almost and today was not it. Totally overcast, foggy with an eerie feel to it. I can not wait for sunshine again!!
I am getting so tired of the rain, and I'm sure the local ski area is, too! At least it will be cold enough to make snow this weekend because Mother Nature sure isn't. The ski area is such a tourist draw to our area that when the weather is bad, it effects everyone who relies on the people it draws to our town.
One decent thing about cold, rainy, dreary days, is that it makes people think they do not have to do anything. It does me! I'd rather be curled up in front of the TV anyway, on days like that. The sun will come out again!
We are lucky to have some sun right now even though its barely in the 40's, the pets outside are loving it. We had a pretty lazy weekend so no outdoors plans but if the weather keeps it up next weekend we are headed out to a local park.
Every time it gets chilly outside I can smell the neighbors burning their wood stove and it makes me wish we had one. I think the next house we get will have one for those "just in case" moments. Much better than a generator right?
Well, it's not really cold, but I think we have seen the sun one day in the past 14. I am ready for some sunshine! I definitely won't be moving to Seattle!
