Default Just don't feel like it...

Ever have one of those days? The laundry is piled up around me, the recyclables need to go out, the bathroom needs to be cleaned, the dishes need to be washed...and I just want to go on strike.

Normally my husband would help out with all that stuff, but he is sick today so I made him go to bed and stay there. I just can't seem to get motivated.

Yep, that is me today too. I'm sitting here surfing the internet and I should be cleaning. There is much to be done but I'm here instead. I just don't feel like it either!

That sounds familiar to me. It's even so me! I think the hardest part it to start doing what you are supposed to do, as humans are born lazy LOL.

OMG...only like everyday! Most days I get up and get on with it since it is not going to do itself but somedays I just lay around and do nothing.

Yup, same here. It's been a bad spring/summer so far and I don't see it getting any better for a while. There's too much to do and not near enough time to do it in. I would love to be able to clone me several times. Then we would all be able to have some time off.

Oh yeah, me too. Somedays I just let everything go and relax. I`ll have to do it all sooner or later. Even dinner is a get your own. We just need a break sometimes ya know?

Oh my! That's the time when I have to go out and keep out of sight for a while. When I get back, I am in a better mood and begin the chores that no one else would do for me.

When I get in those moods I wind up on the internet or playing card games, neither of which is even remotely productive! I think it's the stuff that needs to be done day in and day out that just gets old sometimes. I went on strike last night and made my husband cook dinner because I just couldn't handle one more night in the kitchen

Everyone needs a mental health day once in a while. A day to sleep late and stay in your pj's until noon. Think of some fun things you would like to go out and do, or stay in and watch movies or pick up that book you've been wanting to read. One day can make a big difference.

I think everyone is entitled to have that type of day where nothing gets done. My wife and I call them "mental health days." Enjoy having some time off.
