Default ouch

Gas prices might be going down but it still hurts, we filled both vehicles up today and I do not even want to tell you folks how many tears I felt like shedding. Having both vehicles at the pump at the same time, we just stared at each other in disappointment.

I'm glad we only have one vehical between us right now. It is down to around $3.21 a gallon here which isn't bad but still hurts to pay that!

It stinks, plain and simple. Gas here is $3.49 a gallon and to fill my car it's just over $50. I try to get gas at the grocery store - they have a rewards program. For every $100 you spend you get .10 cents off a gallon.

Ours was over the sixty five dollar mark just for the car, the truck was even worse and thankfully I was not filling it up. If that were the case I am sure I would have looked at the pump and fallen over dead of a heart attack.

Our van takes tons. We put in $20 at at time so it doesn't feel so bad, but we also do that several times a week so we're not really saving any money, just trying to disguise it from ourselves so we don't cry when we put gas in.
