Default Overused white blood cells

I managed to slice my finger this week and I am wondering if this seems normal. I had it wrapped up for a few days since I type for a living, the wrapping is off but now instead of being sore it feels like its asleep. Is this due to the repairing going on, should I be worried?

Ouch. I'm not a doctor but if you're feeling numbness, there is a chance of nerve damage. This might heal on its own but it might not. I'd go to the doctor just to have it checked to be on the safe side.

Wow, I'm not sure either! I would call the doctor and ask to speak to an RN there. I bet they can tell you. I don't remember my finger being numb when I sliced it years ago.

Ouch at first! Maybe you cut off the nerve endings - was it your fingertip? I would have it looked at just to be on the safe side. You never know what they will say.
