I ordered something online the other day and they sent it out to the wrong address, finally today I get confirmation from my shipper that they can in fact re-route it. One gift catastrophe avoided, and one more to go. It makes me wonder how many gifts get lost this time of year?

I am certain that a lot of gifts are lost due to the post. A package arrived at our house on Christmas Eve and the address on the box was just a couple miles away so I drove it to the house the next day and left it on the porch. I still don't understand how it ended up at our house.

I bet thousands get lost this time of year and even more throughout the year. I don't think UPS or Fed-Ex does a great job at shipping or tracking packages.

I agree that they don't put enough effort into shipping or tracking packages. Think about the USPS though, they are laying people off left and right. It's only going to get worse!
