Lightbulb Smoking

I have been trying to stop smoking for ages, and I guess I lack the willpower or to completely stop. I know I have to do it soon...

Well, I know it's not easy to stop smoking after you live the habit for years. In this case, support from your family or the ones who close to you will really help.

You may also want to talk openly and honestly to your Dr about it. I know there are advances in modern science and medicine that have helped lots of people quit. Good luck.

You can do it... You can even post here when you think you can't and we can help you along. It's important to stop smoking for your health. You can do it!

I've been trying for over 5 years now, and I know how you feel. It's the hardest thing I've tried to do in my life. But I am determined to do it.

Thank you so much for the encouragement. I will really try hard to do it once and for all, not so much for myself but also for my son.

I thought I'd never do it. I'd been a smoker for over 40 years when I had my first heart attack. My wife stopped just like that with just will power. It took me a little longer and I needed nicotine substitutes but I did it. She tells me women can do anything, so go for it! Best of luck.

Quitting really is the hardest thing. I've been trying to cut back lately, but I know that isn't going to work in the long run. I need to just make the decision to quit once and for all. I just don't know how in the world I'm going to be able to stick to it once I make the decision.

I still don't know why they haven't outlawed it. Something so addictive and negative, that has killed so many people, really should be against the law.

That's great. The fact that you would do it for your son as well will be a good motivation for you to make any effort necessary to stop smoking.
