I've been to a few storage auctions before but we don't have a great deal of storage facilities around where we live. I would love to go to the city and go to a few though. There is a great college there and I'm sure some of the kids leave stuff.

They are always going to the same storage lockers in California. I am curious if this happens elsewhere? I live in Cali and I know we have a lot of storage. Would it even be possible to do that to stock the shelves of your thrift store in another state?

I have seen the Storage Wars show too and I think it's pretty neat, I know there are some storage places around here who sell stuff too, but they do it more like a yardsale.

It would be so interesting just to go through the things in the storage locker and learn about the previous owner. Maybe that's weird but I think that would be the best part of it.
