Default Working conditions

There is something wrong with a workplace when you go to work and the offices are 56 degrees and they don’t have the heating system on yet. Yes, that is what I am dealing with. It’s so bad that your fingers hurt! Talk about a good way to reduce productivity! I hope no one else works in these conditions!

Sounds like they are trying to save on electricity. I work in an office and it is freezing in their no matter if it is cold outside or hot. Many offices seem to be that way though. I can't stand having to wear a jacket at work all the time.

I don't guess there is someone you can 'complain' to? Maybe see if they can get a little heat to the offices? Can you bring one of those little heaters to put down by your feet? I'd hate to know I had to work and freeze to. It hasn't eve started to get really cold yet!

Wow, crazy! Usually it's too hot where I work and we have to open the windows! I'd rather be able to open windows to cool off instead of wearing a jacket to keep warm.

I remember years ago I worked in an office building that the University of Phoenix owned but I guess they rented out extra office space? The huge floor we were on was spilt in two areas and nothing divided the separate companies other than cubicle stalls. When they were closed and we were open our office was like winter land.

I went to work every day with a parka and I lived in AZ at the time!!
