I always buy haas avocados, but some stores around here also sell much bigger, green avocados. I don't know what they're called (possibly fuerte) and I don't know what they taste like, but I'm curious. Is anyone familiar with this type of avocado and, if so, are they similar to the haas variety?

I like avocados, but I'm familiar with only the fuerte and haas varieties. Honestly, I don't think there is a big difference between the two in terms of the taste or maybe I just haven't been that keen enough to note any difference.
