I was having some friends over for a barbecue last night and somebody's beer exploded in the kitchen. It was on the refrigerator, sink, counter, and floor. I've wiped it up with soap and it looks like it's all gone. Now I swear I can still smell it. Any advice on how to get that beer smell out of the house?

There is a kitchen cleaner called Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day. You should be able to find it at Walmart. Anyway, I have the basil scented one and it really overpowers strong odors. Whenever my kitchen smells funky to me, I get this stuff out and it makes everything smell like fresh basil.

Candice, I might look into that cleaner too because I find that anytime I have people over we get strange smells in the kitchen and bathroom. I have never seen it at the store but next time I'll make a point to look for it.

If you can't find that cleaner you can try a household cleaner with bleach like a bathroom cleaner or you can use vinegar and water to take the smell out.
