It is too hot to cook. I am going to the grocery store tomorrow and I need some ides on what foods to buy. My focus is cold meals since I don't want to turn the oven on. What are the best cold meals for summer?

I like to make chicken or turkey salad with onions and celery. You might also think about keeping some bottles of water in the fridge so there is cold water ready to drink.

We eat a lot of salads and we do a lot of meals in the crock pot although honestly my husband and I have not really been eating dinner...it's just sooo hot. Sandwiches are good too for a cold meal.
