Default Breakfast for dinner

It seems like I rarely ever have time to make a big breakfast at breakfast time so one of my all time favorite dinners is breakfast. Every once in awhile I will make a big breakfast with bacon, eggs, hash browns and toast for dinner. Do you ever do this?

We do this occasionally, but I have been looking at some frugal living websites, and they suggest doing it once a week. Breakfast is often the cheapest meal of the day to cook after all!

On occasion, my family loves it but I don't. Something about syrup and my stomach just don't get along all that well. I love fried potatoes though so we have them often for dinner. Homemaker - what is the website you are talking about? I'd love to look at it too.

Lots of times we will scramble up some eggs and bacon at night if we aren't real hungry and don't want to cook a big dinner. It makes for a nice change.

When I was pregnant, we did this at least three nights a week. I just couldn't get enough breakfast! Now we do this once in a while, but not weekly.

A close friend of mine loves to have breakfast at supper. I've never been able to really get into this idea myself, but she loves it so much, this is what she requested for her birthday supper this year.

There are times when everyone in the house feels too tired or too lazy to cook meals for dinner, so we just make our favorite big breakfast combo - scrambled eggs with bacon or hot dog.

Livvie, I honestly don't remember I visit so many frugal living sites these days. If I come across it again I will post it. I think it was a new blog I found through Pinterest.

I can’t get away with it when my husband is home, but I certainly enjoy the occasional French toast and bacon when it is just me for dinner.

We do this more on the weekends than anything else, weekdays are still just too nutty for us. We also have a dedicated day of the week which is always a grilled cheese sandwich and soup day (Sunday).
