Default Cabbage

Can you can this? Someone was asking me this morning about it and I have no clue. I have never heard of anyone doing it before.

When I think of canned cabbage I think of sauerkraut. You could probably also can it for use later in soups. I'm not sure what the exact procedure would be, but I don't see why it couldn't be done.

I bet you could freeze it better than canning it. Although I know you can make cabbage and other veggie soup and can that. Have you googled canning cabbage?

I don't see why you couldn't. We can soup every year and if I have any left after we eat it, I will can it or freeze it. It's nice to have the soup ready when you need it. I also do pinto beans. They taste a lot better than the stuff you buy in stores.

I've never thought about it before but you probably good. Might work better in a soup though instead of canning it just all by itself.
