Default Cheap bad stuff

I think that is what I lived off of for a few years and it has shown but at least today I am thankful. Since I have started to pay attention to what is in my kitchen and what goes into my body I have dropped 16.6lbs. No more cheap bad stuff in this kitchen.

It certainly is cheaper to eat processed foods, but it is so bad for us. I make as much as of our meals as possible from scratch because I just don't feel right serving my family foods that have ingredients I can't pronounce. That said, since I started doing that my grocery bill has darn near doubled.

Before, I was so guilty of simply grabbing processed foods because I was busy, tired and had no time to prepare 'real' meals, but I realized that it wasn't a healthy style, so now I make sure to spend time in the kitchen preparing our meals. Processed foods could be so tempting because they're more convenient and in an instant, you have food on your plate, but such convenience doesn't necessarily mean it's good or healthy.
