Default Cheap Recipes - Chicken Supreme

When I was at high school we learnt a very easy recipe called Chicken Supreme and 10 years later I still make it, and now for my own little family.
Here's the steps:

1. Melt 1 tbl spn margerine in a pan, add 2 chicken breast diced and cook until brown. Remove from pan and place on a plate.
2. Stir fry 1/2 cup peas, 1 carrot diced and 1/2 Red Pepper for a few minutes. Remove from pan, add to chicken on plate.
3. Add 2 tbl spn extra margerine to pan with 2 tbl sp flour and cook out for 1 min. Gradually whisk in 1 cup chicken stock, salt and pepper, 1 ts spn mustard powder, 1 ts spn tumeric to make the sauce.
4. Add 4tbl spn cream to make sauce lovely and creamy!
5. Add cooked chicken and vegetables to the pan and mix well.
6. Serve with rice.

Makes a nutritional and easy meal for the whole family.

Mmmmmmmm, that sounds delicious! I'll have to make that for my family. My husband loves chicken so I'll have to get some chicken at the store the next time I go. We're having leftover barbecue chicken tonight-Memphis style and he loves it. I could cook chicken every night for him and he would be happy.

Tried your recipe the other night Ruby and the whole family loved it! We will definitely be having this one again. In fact, my husband already asked when we were going to have it again.

I am going to have to try it. I just printed the recipe.
I am always looking for new ways to make chicken. I love chicken because you can do so much with it.

Thanks for the idea.

Just one question: What is tumeric?
