Default Cleaning cabinets

I think the last tenant cooked with a lot of grease and never cleaned. If you look real close the cabinets have dull streaks that I think is caked on grease. They don't feel sticky but I can't seem to get them clean. Any ideas?

There are a lot of products out there for getting grease off counters and cabinets. Find a good degreaser and try that. I believe 'go green' has one that is good for this. Good luck.

I had the same problem when we moved into this house. The ultimate solution is going to be a fresh coat of paint. You can use a degreaser like Greased Lightning or 409 to make it look better in the meantime though.

Thanks guys. I've tried everything I currently have and ended up taking the cabinet door off, putting on the counter and dunking a rag in a boiling pot of water and letting it sit on it for a while. I'll try your suggestions next.
