How many days out of the month are you eating out or getting something delivered? We have cut back on this since we are watching what we eat now but I did wonder are others as bad as we used to be?
Well we are pretty much doing the same here although I sure like picking up something to bring home if I'm out and about. It does get expensive though so that is another reason why we are cutting back on eating out all the time.
We don't do this a whole lot any more either. It has gotten expensive and we, like you, are also trying to watch what we eat and it seems easier to fix something at home. It is still fun to do once in a while though.
I do not eat out or order in very often. Once a month maybe if you include the meals at the grocery store. The wife does like the frozen pizzas though and she may pick them up for a quick meal.
The only time I eat out is when I'm with my extended family which hasn't happened too often in the past six months. I don't order out because DiGiorno is probably better than any pizza around me that I could get delivered.
We cut back too. We used to eat out every night. Now we only eat out twice a week and even then we are more careful about where we go. It has saved us a lot of money.
I am going to be honest. I did some calculations and food is costing more than ever. In some situations it is now cheaper to eat out, until certain restaurants raise their prices.
We eat out very little now. We are trying to save money for other things so eating at home is what we are doing. I would say we eat out at least once every other week - and it's usually ordering out so we don't have to pay a tip.
