Default Cookware recommendation

My wife was complaining this morning about her frying pan not being any good. Since I'm always looking for gift ideas (she LOVES getting stuff for her home and kitchen!) I thought I'd buy her a good quality frying pan. Can any of the cooks in here recommend a good brand and where to find it? I don't mind spending a little more for one that will last her a long time.

How about Rachel Ray cookware? They sell it at Kohl's - it is pricey. I love Cooks cookware and that is at JCPenney's. Wal-Mart has the Faberware line and that is pretty decent too.

Seriously? Rachel Ray - I think you are only paying for the name when you buy her cookware. Believe me you are paying a lot! I would go with T-Fal.

I just got a Rachel Ray set of cookware. I actually got it through my bank points. But it really doesn't seem any more expensive the some of the others out there. I like the T-Fal but it didn't seem to last very long.

I only use stainless cookware and the set I currently have is Cuisinart. I really like these pots and pans because they can transfer directly from the stove top to the oven which makes them more versatile than a pan that isn't ovenproof.

I am just like Bella but she is one step up on me. I forget the name brand of ours and while it was pricy (and not by some random cook lady on TV) I know it will be lasting for a long while too.

I like the stainless steel pans to but my favorite are the cast iron ones. I've had some nice fry pans for years and a dutch oven that I just couldn't do without!
