| Do you have/use a Microwave? This may look like a somewhat odd topic title, considering that pretty much everyone owns a Microwave, right?
Wrong, as I have been living without a Microwave for about 5 years now, ever since our last one died. While it certainly has been a challenge when you want to cook something fast without a long wait, it has certainly encouraged us to make more things for ourselves, instead of relying on microwavable foods. Anyone else here who doesn't use a Microwave? |

| I use my microwave almost every night when I cook dinner. I can't even think about what I would do without one...I'd have to use my oven!
I usually only cook certain things in the micro. I did just get a cooker from a kitchen party and I love it because I can brown ground beef in the micro and it is so easy! |

| I use my microwave all the time, at least one time a day! We heat water in the morning for hot cocoa. I warm up soup for lunches, we warm up left-overs. It's just more convenient. |

| Because we don't have a Microwave, we have to either use the stove or oven for dinner, unless we are planning on ordering out for something, or getting fast food, or eating somewhere else. Trust me, I wish I had a microwave sometimes...but I do see some upsides to doing without one. |

| I have a microwave that I use mostly for popping popcorn but will use it to warm stuff back up. I don't really have a need for it, kind of like the toaster oven that I use to have and never used. |

| I use my microwave more than I would like to. I just have a thought that too much microwave food is not got, so I avoid it as much as possible. |

| There have been a number of studies that suggest that microwaves may give off some radiation, and depending on if it effects your food or not...it could potentially have some harmful effects to your health, but again there's a lot I don't know. |

| We only use the microwave to heat food that has been stored in the ref. It is faster and more convenient. Don't know about health effects though. |

| I try not to use it as much as possible, if I can avoid it. I've heard that it's not safe as far as cooking goes, and so I prefer to use the stovetop. |

| I didn't used to use mine that often but now with a small child I definitely use it more. Chasing after her sometimes the day gets away from me and then oops...dinner time with nothing prepared! |
