Default Does Baking Soda really help keep odor our of Fridge?

I've heard a lot about this and have seen the boxes where it is suppose to be just for the fridge but wondered if it actually works? Has anyone used it and noticed a difference? Believe it or not I haven't tried it yet, been wanting to ask around to see if it works.

Absolutely! I use it in my refrigerator freezer and my chest freezer. It makes a huge difference in keeping the ice cream not to taste like the onions I chop up for use in recipes later. I also have a lot of strong tasting foods in the refrigerator sometimes and the baking soda make the odor disappear. Sometime you may need to change the box before you can get some odors to leave.

I definitely think it helps. It keeps everything in your fridge and/or freezer tasting the way it's supposed to taste. And it does help with odor. I've been lazy and neglected to change it from time to time and I notice the difference when I don't have a fresh box in there.

I think it helps too. I don't just put baking soda in the fridge in the box. I sprinkle some in the vegetable crisper and put a paper towel over it. That helps a lot too.

Never thought of doing that before Jump, but I do keep a box in both the refrigerator and the freezers. I use it to clean a good bit too.
