Default German potato salad recipe?

I love this salad and I have no idea how to make it. Does anyone have the recipe for this? I can make a mean potato salad (miracle whip, cucumbers, radishes, eggs, potatoes, etc.).
The german one is the one that has the vinegar taste and has bacon.

Anyone?

Is it possible you are talking about this one? I do not make my PS with all the extra goodies since I really do like like them, but I have heard raves about this one before from my parenting network.

Thank you! This looks perfect and I'm going to try to make it this weekend.

I appreciate you posting the recipe for me.

I can't wait to try it and I hope it turns out.

I make something similar that as a matter of fact made for my partners lunch yesterday and for my mum and I as well. I call it Potato Tuna Salad
1. Boil some potato's till soft, but tender, then drain and put in a bowl.
2. Add a good amount of mayonaise, salt and pepper.
3. Chop up a few tomato's, cucumber, gerkins, pickled onions, half a shredded lettuce, 1 can of tuna (large), 1 avocado chopped, 1/2 capsicum diced finely and a small tin of corn.
4. Add a few teaspoons of choppped parsley and mix well. This makes a wholesome lunch or dinner and is very healthy and delicious.

A friend of mine makes really good German potato salad. Hers has a lot of chives in it and she prefers to serve it chilled versus warm like many do. I'll see if I can get the recipe from her to share.

Ruby that sounds delicious. I love German potato salad too. I usually just buy Read's from the grocery store. I'm going to try to make it from this recipe.
I like it warm and not cold though.

I am going to try to make this. This is the only kind of potato salad that I will eat. Thanks for posting the recipe.
