I'd be interested in your tips to peeling hard boiled eggs. I know everyone has one to help keep the shells from sticking to the egg and making a mess! I like to do mine while they are hot, some say wait until cold. What's your tip?

I just drop the eggs in ice water as soon as they're cooked and wait about ten minutes before I peel them. I've never had any luck peeling them when they're still hot.

Well I have tried peeling them hot and sometimes it works great, then others I have a hard time. Same with cold. So maybe it is just the egg?

Candice that is exactly what I do too and it works like a charm. I then run cold water over them when I'm peeling them. I learned that trick about 10 years ago and I've been using it since.

Great tip! I always just try to peel them and they end up broken! I start off making deviled eggs and end up making egg salad because they get all broke! I'm going to try using cold water next time.

I've never had any luck with peeling eggs. I do love boiled eggs and love boiled eggs in my potato salad as well. But I've never been successful when trying to make deviled eggs. I'll try the above tips!
