Does anyone besides me make homemade bread? We bought a bread maker many years ago and had used it very little until recently. I hauled it out and I'm hooked! The bread is simple and easy to put together, you just add the ingredients as the recipe says and turn it on. In about 4 hours you have fresh bread to smear butter on! Wonderful! We've almost stopped buying store bought bread.

Mmmmmm, I love fresh bread! I have a bread maker I received as a gift several years ago and I never even tried it. I think I'm going to have to get it out and try it. Do you have a good recipe Alfred?

Oh gee that sounds delicious! I love fresh bread. My Mom used to make it by hand but I never quite got the knack of it and have never been able to make it. I may have to go looking for bread machines!

Is it more economical to make your own bread or is it more expensive? I love homemade bread but I don't want to increase our grocery budget.
