So tell me, have you got all of your Christmas cookies, cakes, pies and candies made to give away? I always give my neighbors homemade stuff like this and they actually prefer it. I like to bake, they like to eat!!!

We make plates for some of our neighbors, we are lucky to live in an area where we are probably the youngest people on the block. Year after year we see some neighbors who never get visitors, this time of year or any other.

We have a few batches that we always save for the afternoon of Eve, this way it gets the kids settled into being a little hyper when it comes to the single gift we let them open that evening. Plus it helps motivate them into helping rake the front yard before company comes over.
