Default I Found The Best Product!

Before I post this let me say I am not in any way affiliated with this brand or company. My cousin and I were discussing cleaning our stoves (which I heartily detest) and she mentioned that she had found a product that would take just about anything off of anything. It was Dawn Power Dissolver. Now, I didn't really believe her but I saw it in the store and I thought I would get some and try it. I got it and took it home and the next day I sprayed it on some spilled, baked on gunk in my oven. I left it for about 15 minutes and came back with my paint scraper in hand getting ready for the battle. Imagine my surprise when I took a damp cleaning cloth to wipe up the cleaner and the whole mess came up!!!!! I was absolutely shocked to say the least. Now I use this stuff on my shower for soap scum, on the floor for...no I don't even want to know what that was! The only thing I have to say is make sure you test it in an inconspicuous spot first to make sure you don't take the finish off of something. I was cleaning crayon off of my bedroom door one day (don't ask!) and the paint came off with the crayon. I went ahead and used the stuff to take the rest of the paint off and now I've got to go to the store to get paint to paint the bedroom door-but the crayon is gone! It's not at all expensive and I wouldn't ever, ever be without this stuff in the house again. One caution though-the fumes are rather off putting. The scent is pleasant but there is something in it that makes me cough so I spray and leave for a while until things air out. Try it sometimes!

Gee Anna, that stuff sounds lethal! LOL. I'll have to get some and see what I can do with my oven. That's my job in the house and it's getting time to do the cleaning again. I cook a lot too, so it's my mess as well.

Oh, I've used this stuff! It's wonderful! I cleaned my outdoor grill with it and it was great. I took the grill grates out of the grill first and laid them on an old sheet on the ground. I sprayed them and then left it for a while. Then I took the water hose and sprayed them off. It worked! I took a bucket of soapy water and washed them after that and rinsed them well and then put them back. It looks like new! If there are some stubborn spots you can take a small, toothbrush size, wire brush to it and it will come as clean as when you bought your grill.

One caution though, don't get it into your eyes or your mouth. It makes you feel like your throat is sore forever. As far as hands are concerned, use gloves. It does take off paint so any nail polish will come off if you are wearing any when you use this. I literally took nail polish off of the counter top with this stuff.
