Default Need a new VentAhood

I believe that is the proper term for it. The very loud obnoxious fan that sucks up all the yuckies while you slave over the stove or sucks up the heat while you relax in your recliner while the oven does the work?

Anyhow, I turned ours on today and it popped and went out, it was about 15 years old so served a nice run. I need a new, affordable one. Any ideas where to start looking?

We have a nice scratch and dent store near our home where I get almost all of my appliances. I don't mind if they have a dent as long as they run and they are guaranteed by the store. I've gotten a washer and dryer set and an electric stove so far for about 1/2 to 3/4 the price of one in other stores. Check to see if you can find a store like this in your area. A lot of times the scratches aren't even in places that you would notice unless you pulled the appliance out and looked.

Wow I wish I could find a place like that around here. I don't know of any really but I should check in the next town over. They have a nice shopping center so maybe they will have something like that around and I'm just not aware of it!

Check your local Sears or Home Depot as well. There have been several times when I have went searching for something there and once I told the clerk I could not afford such expensive appliances I was introduced to their clearance items in the back which had been returned or lightly damaged upon shipment etc.

Well how annoying was that? Anyway clutterfree if you have a lowe's or home depot nearby they sell scratch and dent stuff as well you just have to ask. My parents just got one of those fancy new washing machines 1/2 off because it has a scratch on the side.

I'm driving out and going shopping in the next state over this weekend and they have both a Lowe's and a Home Depot! I'm going to check both of them and see what I can find, I cannot stand another week without one!
