Do you guys have a hard time cooking sometimes because your spouse "helps" you in the kitchen. I love my husband dearly and he does try his best but I do wish he would just stay out of the kitchen. Everytime I get things organized, he "helps" me and I wind up hunting for some kitchen tool to work with. I don't want to hurt his feelings but I needed to vent!
I do better when I am in the kitchen alone too, I know where everything is and I never worry about turning around quick with something hot in my hands. When anyone enters my kitchen they do so at their own risk
You sound just like my wife! She herds me out of the kitchen whenever she is cooking and I'm not allowed in, but I don't mind because she is such a great cook. (Had to say that in case she reads this!)
:O I'd say you had better say that toby70, or risk no more home cooked meals! HaHa! I do a lot better when everyone stays out of my way too. I don't have to worry about someone salting something that's already been salted or put a lid on something that needs to cook down. I prefer to have MY kitchen to myself.
My husband hovers which is a good thing when I need his help, but it can be a real problem when I've got everything under control and he's in my way. Although lately my biggest problem has been having a two year old under foot. She gets in my way so much it makes him seem invisible!
