Default Parmesan Knots

These are absolutely delicious! You can serve them with soups or salad, or as a bread to go with dinner. They don't take anytime to put together either!

Ingredients:
•1 tube (12 ounces) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
•1/4 cup canola oil
•3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (the canned kind is fine)
•1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
•1 teaspoon dried oregano
•1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes

Directions:
1.Roll each biscuit into a 12-in. rope and tie into a knot; tuck ends under. Place 2 in. apart on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 400° for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
2.In a large bowl, combine the remaining ingredients; brush the warm knots with the mixture. Yield:10 knots.

These sound like that would go great with a soup I am making for dinner tomorrow. I know I have a can of biscuits I just hope I have some parsley!

I read that you can make something similar to this out of those Pillsbury premade crescents. I guess it depends on which you like more but I have to ask, wouldn't the grease from th cheese make it soggy or does Parmesan melt different?

Cero- If you use the grated parmesan cheese in the can (like for spaghetti) it should not make the biscuits greasy. I'll bet this would be really good with the crescent rolls as well.

These do sound good and I will have to give them a try. I like these types of rolls with my soup and salad and the cheese on them sound great. Thanks.
