Default Pasteurized egg whites

I have a recipe that calls for pasteurized egg whites and I'm confused. Aren't all store bought eggs pasteurized? And doesn't that mean that the egg white of those eggs would be pasteurized in the process? It threw me off because the way it was worded in the recipe made it sound like pasteurized egg whites are hard to find.

Pasteurized egg whites come in liquid form. It can be found next to the eggs in the dairy section. Make sure to read the label that it is 100 percent pure egg white. It should have no added salt making it pure. I think organic liquid egg whites would be the best. I hope this helps!
