Default PC manual food processor

I just used my Pampered Chef manual food processor for the first time tonight....I LOVE it! This is the first kitchen gadget like this that I've owned and I'm really pleased! I made tuna fish salad and added celery, carrots and onion. The processor worked great and the tuna salad turned out fantastic! I also like that it is small. Does anyone use a manual food processor that they love?

I have heard of them before but we have never used one. How often do you use it in say a month's time span? If it it something we could use a good deal of I would be tempted to purchase one.

Charla, we have one and my wife uses it all the time. Our processor is not the Pampered Chef brand (I don't think), but she uses it all the time to make fresh salsa, dips, egg or tuna salad...she's even made her own hummus. It is a small little thing that holds about 4 cups and stores easily in the cupboard. Homebase, good luck with yours! I'm sure you will find a lot of uses for it!

Are you talking about one of those things where you push down the plunger and it chops whatever is underneath it? I had one like that and it didn't impress me, but then again, it wasn't made by Pampered Chef.

Candice, I love Pampered Chef! The manual food processor isn't a chopper. It looks like a small electric food processor, but you turn a handle and the food is processed manually. It works fantastic and I LOVE my food processor. PC also has a chopper that works much better than the one you probably tried. I think about 80% of their stuff is great. I have tried a few things I didn't care for. Have you used it a lot yet, Homebase?
