Do you use pre-cooked meats like sausage and bacon? It always amazes me how many people I see buying them. You get so much less for your money. We buy a big pack of sausage, and cook it all at once for the week.

I get pre-cooked bacon for my son to make himself for breakfast. I do not want him cooking it on the stove top. Still, I only get 1 box a week so if he eats it all in one day, then it's gone.

I don't buy any of it because it's so much more expensive. Besides I like to cook mine up fresh each time I want some. I know it is a lot more convenient and works out great for what you mentioned Willow, so I guess it would just be up to each individual.

I have gotten it once or twice, but it never tastes as good as what you cook yourself to me. You get more for your $$ when you cook it yourself too.

No. I don't like the precooked stuff that much. It's too expensive for us to buy this stuff. It's amazing how much more this stuff costs. I was going to buy some of the precooked chicken breasts the other day and they were so expensive!

I have never bought those at all. I have always worried they wouldn't be cooked well enough and we may get food poisoning from it. I even make sure a fully cooked ham is heated up enough to kill any germs in it.

Yuk, I don't and it's not because of the money alone - it's because of the taste. I like fresh, anything other than that to me would be gross. I have never bought it and I doubt I will.
