I was thinking about making a rainbow cake, this weekend, after I saw a beautiful rainbow in the sky this morning. I am inviting my mom and sister for a barbecue this weekend, and I think a rainbow cake will make a nice addition. I want the outside to be frosted in cream cheese. When you cut the cake, the rainbow will be a surprise. How do you layer the different colors, and get the brightest colors possible?
