For a garden that started off so poorly I have a ton of tomatoes and they just keep on coming. Any ideas besides tomato sandwiches, and putting them in salads that I can use them for?
You could always try some "Fried Green Tomatoes" My mother in law always put some up in her freezer, you can also can them. They're good for adding to spaghetti sauce and soups.
You can make spaghetti sauce or salsa with them by canning them. You can also use fresh tomatoes in pasta dishes right now. We eat BLT's at least once a week and then tomato sandwiches a couple of times a week.
