Does anyone have a recipe for strawberry pie? I want to make one like they sell at Shoney's. We don't have a Shoney's anywhere near here anymore and I love that pie!

If Shoney's strawberry pies are the ones that have the gel-like base, I think all you have to do is clean the strawberries, put most of the gel-base in the shell, add the strawberries and cover them with the rest of the gel. You can buy the gel-base at any grocery store. It's usually next to the strawberries.
The only strawberry pie I've ever had was just pie crust over strawberries. I didn't know that there were recipes for other types! I would be interested in trying some of them out.
