I just got some turnips from a friend and I have no idea what to do with them. Does anyone have any suggestions of what I could use them for? I'm totally at a loss here, but didn't want to turn down her gift.
Most people boil them, and they go great in a stew. But my favorite is roasting them, brushed with olive oil. They caramelize and are just lovely like that.
