Does anyone else love cooked turnips? I make them all of the time for me and I love them. I cook them with bacon grease, salt and a tiny bit of sugar. Yum! I'm trying to teach my kids to like them but I don't think I'm going to get them to eat them anytime soon.

I like raw turnips but I've never tried them cooked. We used to eat them by the bowlful when my father would cut them up for us kids to munch on with salt. I loved them. I'll have to try them cooked now, you have me curious.
