Default What here can help with sunburn?

We went to the lake yesterday and I got a heck of a sunburn! I have tried aloe and after sun lotion and the burn is still just as bad today! Is there anything that I can use from the kitchen to help with the burn?

Did you try Vinegar? White vinegar - not cider vinegar seems to take the sting out of burns. It doesn't smell that great though and you have to apply it a few times for it to work.

I hope I never get sunburn again then. I can barely stand the smell of any vinegar let alone smothering it all over my body and then have to reapply.

Use brown paper bags soaked in white vinegar placed on the burned area. You can also use plain yogurt which will help the burn to chill a bit. You may have to go to the drugstore and get a cortisone cream to help with the skin swelling. That is one of the causes of the discomfort.
